WTF (Woman Holding ship)
The Matriarch holds the colonist ship in the palm of her hand. She is confused and questions where this boat has come from. What does this strange tribe want? Are they an insignificant pest that she may have to eradicate?
She is the Protector and holds the Power.
Maternal Power (Woman holding scales)
This is an interpretation of the ‘Lady of Justice’.
The Matriarch is The Law and Order.
She holds the scales that weigh up the good and bad when dealing out justice, impartial to all truth in the matter. In the background, the colonist ship starts to sail in. She sees this on the horizon.
Creator of this Country (Snake and church)
The Serpent is a reminder of the cultural beliefs that have been embedded in the generations of our people, “Everything you see is by Me. I am Creator of this Country”. The Serpent is Dignified. Magnificent. Superior.
The Serpent anchors itself upon the building, looking down on the broken symbol of the church.
