🌱 Bonyi Season is Fast Approaching! 🌱
We’re thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for five emerging First Nations artists to exhibit in our annual bunya show, Bonyi: Living Culture, running from 8th February to 29th March at Munimba-ja Art Centre.
🌾 Grounded in Country, this exhibition celebrates First Nations weaving, natural dying, and printmaking practices. These timeless arts carry stories and cultural knowledges across generations, remaining vital to connection, belonging, and cultural continuity for First Nations peoples.

This year’s show is a celebration of the ongoing culture of Bonyi season. We’re seeking artists to create and exhibit works that reflect the spirit of this season through weaving, dying, and printmaking.

EOI Opens: 13th December
EOI Closes: 20th December
Successful Artists Notified: 23rd December
Artists + Curators Meeting: 10th January
Show Opens: 8th February
Closing Party: 29th March
📍 Artists will gain access to studio space and workshops at Print Club 2nd Space Nambour during January to bring their visions to life.
💰 Selected artists will receive an artist fee of $400.
